Neovemox Long-Acting Injection for Sheep NEOVEMOX-LA-SHEEP Neove Pharma

Description

Neovemox Long-Acting Injection for Sheep

Active Ingredient: Moxidectin @ 20g/L

Similar or comparable to Cydectin Long Acting Injection For Sheep (Virbac)

Neovemox Long-Acting Injection for Sheep is for treatment and control of roundworms, nasal bot and itchmite in sheep and for protection against severe challenge by Haemonchus contortus (barber’s pole worm) for up to 4 months.

Neovemox LA Injection for Sheep is made from Moxidectin, a potent Macrocyclic Lactone (ML).  Moxidectin kills many of the common internal and external parasites by selectively binding to a parasite’s glutamate-gated chloride ion channels. These channels are vital to the function of invertebrate nerve and muscle cells; when moxidectin binds to the channels, it disrupts neurotransmission, resulting in paralysis and death of the parasite.

Indications:

  • Long-acting control of Barber’s Pole Worm, Teladorsagia (Ostertagia) Circumcincta for not less than 91 days, and Trichostrongylus colubriformis for up to 49 days.
  • Long-acting protection against severe challenge by barber’s pole worm for up to 4 months
  • Nasal bot control
  • Itchmite control

Neovemox Long-Acting Injection For Sheep contains moxidectin, a second generation of the macrocyclic lactone family.  It is effective against sensitive strains of the following parasites and provides protection against severe challenge by Haemonchus contortus (barber’s pole worm) for up to 4 months:

    Very impressed with Neovemox

    Lesley (verified owner)

This injection has given us really good results in our alpacas. Fomacha score is high within a few days of injecting. Great protection time against Barbers Pole. Better than monthly cydectin injections and cheaper than cydectin long lasting.
